The Grad

I forgot about this post. For some reason I thought I had already posted it.

So after spending 3 beautiful days in my university town, the day of my grad finally approaches (Wednesday). I wake up to violent rain drops against the door of the room, then to make things worse, I hear thunder. It so happens that on my graduation day - where I plan to take beautiful pictures on campus - it thunderstorms. My mom calls me letting me know they are on their way and that the rain is so bad they cannot see a meter ahead of them while driving. She then informs me we should wear rain boots - which none of us actually brought, but my mom always wants to state what we should do, rather than what is plausible at the moment.

So, in all my sorrow, I begin getting ready. I curl my hair, do my make-up and put on my pretty white dress, all to just make me feel better at this point.

Once my parents arrive the rain calms, so we rush into the car to get to campus and the ceremony building before we get soaked again (in case the rain starts up again - which it did).

We did get a couple of pictures in with the drizzling rain, better than nothing.

Then there was of course the actual grad (which I will post a video off later - I am still editing... and by still I mean I havent started).

And of course we took many more pictures! And then we stopped by my friends place to take pictures there.

We had dinner at the place I used to work at which was lovely! We got served by some of my favourite servers and I got to see and talk to my friend.

I DID IT!! 5 long years, some of the best years of my life, and so many more exciting things to come!!

The Pre-Grad

It has been a week since I graduated, I feel like a different person... well not really. I feel exactly the same, just more accomplished. Thank goodness I have this next year planned out, I don't know what I would do if I had no idea what it was that I was doing on my year off. France, france, france!

So I came to my university city 4 days in advance so I can see my friends, see my favourite city, and enjoy the student life once more.

Sunday I arrived first in Toronto, downtown, to spend the day with this lovely and beautiful girl:

She is an amazing person, who I am so glad to have met in my first year of university. I don't know how my life would have turned out without her.

We spent the day eating, shopping (obviously), and [last minute] we got our nails done (like 5 minutes before I had to board the bus).

I arrived at my destination at 8:45pm, which was an hour later than I was supposed to, but of course traffic was awful getting out of downtown. So I spent some time in Kingston watching Game of thrones with people and catching up on the little things.

The next day I enjoyed a lovely walk through the city, indulged in a delicious birthday dinner, and attended a mature social gathering, birthday party.

We did take one really classy #selfie. I happen to NOT be the birthday girl, but as everyone points out, this picture shows otherwise.

Grad post tomorrow.

As we go on, we remember.....

all the times we, had together.

I remember when this song played at my high school graduation... oh those days, those awful days (that another blogpost).

I am graduation Uni soon! Technically I graduated last year, but I stayed for a fifth year, so now I am actually graduating!

I leave for my university home town tomorrow! So excited. I will hopefully be able to make a vlog of the couple days that I am there, I'll post it after I am done editing and all. Also I have a couple of things planned, so lets hope they all work out and things work in my favour!

Other than taking a whole bunch of OOTD pictures for my instagram, I haven't been up to much, hence why I haven't written anything.

Oh and I did my sisters hair.

Also i am way into hats now
